Experience a weekend on horseback in Lofoten!

Friday: Welcome and get to know the guides and horses

We pick you up at Leknes or Svolvaer airport and drive to Hov to check in at the Lofoten Links Lodges. After that delicious welcome dinner will be enjoyed in our Låven Restaurant.

After dinner we’ll meet the horses and go for our first ride together: Northern lights tour. This is an easy ride (about 2 hours) to become familiar with the guides and horses. Hopefully, we will get to see the northern lights!

Saturday: Vestvågøy and Aalan Cheese Farm

Day trip from Viking Museum at Borg to Aalan cheese farm. A 5-6 hour ride including ecological lunch at Åland farm where can taste many of their famous goat cheeses. Medium/demanding tour.

Sunday: Full day tour at Gimsøy

Day trip on Gimsøy. Travel the Vikingvei/Viking Old Road and have lunch in the traditional Sami Lavvo in Vinje valley. Medium demanding tour. 5-6 hour ride.

Transport to airport after the tour.

Additional: We can arrange sightseeing tours and other activities in Lofoten for an additional cost.

Deposit and payments

50% of the full payment must be made within 14 days of the reservation to serve as a deposit. Final payment must be made 4 weeks before the tour date.

 Cancellations

All cancellations must be given in writing and will be charged as follows:

• Tours can be cancelled up to 6 weeks prior to the tour date with no cancellation fee.
• Cancellations with 6-2 weeks’ notice will be charged 50% of the total amount.
• Cancellation with less than 2 weeks’ notice will be charged 100% of total amount.
