Multi day tours

We offer 2-7 days of horseback trips in Lofoten. Accommodation based at Hov Guesthouse and meals served in our well reviewed restaurant Låven, both located at Hov Gård. Depending on which tour you choose, you will see different parts of Lofoten, spread out on the hidden beaches, off trail mountains, unvisited valleys, some fantastic restaurants  and spectacular scenery. You might find yourself on tour with a rib boat, picking local herbs or going for extraordinary hikes. This is an excellent way to experience the land and culture of Lofoten, offering a unique insight to our history. We will ride along beaches and up mountains on our fantastic Icelandic horses, and experience Viking culture and local food and cheese from farms in the region. For 2025 we have Mountains of Lofoten (7 days), Snow-fun and Northern Lights (5 days), Lofoten Island-Ride (7 days) and Lofoten Ride and Gourmet (7 days) in addition to our Classic Multi Day-tours (5 days). Payment terms:
The tour must be paid in full to confirm the booking.

Cancellation policy for multi-day tours:

All cancellations must be given in writing and will be charged as follows:

Cancellations more than 91 days prior to arrival: A 5% administration fee is charged.

90-61 days prior to arrival: 50% of the full price is charged.

60 days prior or less: 100% of the full price will be charged.

The tours can be cancelled due to bad weather conditions, we put safety first. In the event of unfavourable weather conditions, the tour will be re-booked to another time or day that suit you. Please bring warm clothes and read our terms and conditions here: Terms and conditions
